DR. TAMIR DANILOV
Dr. Danilov is a highly skilled, board certified podiatrist and foot surgeon. When it comes to practicing medicine, his philosophy is that the ability to spend time talking with a patient is just as important as clinical training and academic knowledge. He believes that when a physician is willing to truly connect with a patient, treatments are more effective because communication is key to understanding the patient’s pain and discomfort. Dr. Danilov’s goal is to provide a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere for patients; one in which they feel at ease and are confident that they are receiving the highest quality care.
Tamir Danilov, DPM, AACFAS is a highly skilled, board certified podiatrist and foot surgeon serving patients in the Lower East Side and Alphabet City in Manhattan, New York. He provides comprehensive treatment and surgical care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. He has extensive training in lower extremity trauma, diabetic limb salvage and wound care, and reconstructive surgery of the foot. He is a part-time faculty member and attending physician with surgical privileges at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and the hospital’s satellite clinic.
Dr. Danilov served as resident physician and surgeon in a very demanding, highly selective residency program at the prestigious NYU Lutheran Medical Center, Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, in Brooklyn, New York. He received his medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, New York, NY , became a Certified Pedorthist at Eneslow Pedorthic Institute in Manhattan and received his undergraduate degree with honors at Pace
University in New York.
Dr. Danilov is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM), Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS)(Foot only), and is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (AACFAS). He is a Certified Pedorthist by the American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc. (C. Ped.) and is licensed to practice in New York State and New Jersey.
